"The Regency Cafe is very much a what you see is what you get type of place but one I really liked! It's a pretty small restaurant but they are very efficient. You line up to place your order and are then given a table, food comes out shortly after. My husband ordered the eggs benedict and I got the traditional English breakfast which came with eggs, bacon, sausage, baked beans, toast, and tea. I added on hash browns as well. I'm a fan of baked beans and toast, so that definitely hit the spot! Sausage was nice, I'd probably ask for the bacon well done for how I like it, and the hash browns were also good. My husband liked the benedict too. Overall, if you're in the area and are in the mood for a simple, solid breakfast, I'd recommend stopping in!"

"Breakfast in a historic diner, a perfect combination! I was told by some friends I needed to try it out so I finally made my way here. The diner reminded me of the old places I used to visit in New Jersey. The staff were friendly and fast with the food. The line to order was long and there isn't a ton of seating but don't let that bother you as people cycled through fairly rapidly and I didn't need to wait for a seat. I tried the Breakfast Deal (sausage, bacon, egg, beans, toast, coffee) and added hash browns, all for $14 USD. Pretty good food for a very affordable price gets them a win in my book. Worth visiting if you are in the area!"

"I can simply say, I loved it. We got there a little late for breakfast but they serve it till 2:30. We waited in line and it moved very quickly. People ate, left, and the tables get cleaned up very quickly. It's a very quick turn around. It has a great old school diner feel. When you finally make it up there you place your order, grab your drinks and toast, find somewhere to sit, and wait for them to call out your order. I would say it was max a 5 min wait. We ordered a tea and coffee which you can add steamed milk and sugar too. Both were very delicious. I would say I preferred the coffee with cream over the tea. I ordered a set breakfast of egg, sausage, bacon, beans, toast, and coffee with an order of black pudding. I really enjoyed the meal. It was a good hearty breakfast. Bacon isn't the same as what you think of bacon in the U.S. It's more like ham and is bit on the saltier end but when you eat it with the beans or toast or eggs it creates a nice balance. I was set on trying the blood sausage. There wasn't an irony taste and it had a slight crunch as if it was lightly pan fried. I tried a couple bites of hashbrowns from another plate. It had a slight oniony flavor to it which was nice and it was nice and crispy."

I noticed that this place was frequented by blue-collar workers trying to get a hearty breakfast in- not a touristy joint at all, which is an awesome sign. One of the few remaining authentic cafes in central London (also very centrally located near Pimlico). Try it for yourself, even if you don't like it you're only out £9 or so.
